“White Shell Tongue nasce dal ciclo White Shell, opere nate per errore nonostante inizialmente abbiano uno schema  matematico e un progetto che mai ho potuto raggiungere. Il risultato finale, inaspettato in ogni scultura, l’ho interpretato poi come un ideogramma che si presenta nel suo divenire, come un gesto: voce primordiale che parla attraverso una scrittura ridotta a pura esteriorità e ad involucri, gusci svuotati. Una lingua ora a noi sconosciuta ma originaria, White Shell Tongue. Queste mie scritture sono nate come risultato di conversazioni intercorse con i ricercatori dell’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare di Frascati sui concetti di materia oscura, antimateria, il mondo della fisica nucleare e subnucleare e sul progetto DAPHNE, l’acceleratore di particelle. Vari scatti (shots) di ogni lato di tre sculture bianche: il gesto e la materia sono i termini di un rapporto ancora in attesa di essere decifrato”.

“White Shell Tongue originates from White Shell cycle, works born by mistake although initially they have a mathematical scheme and a project that I have never been able to achieve. The final effect, unexpected of each sculpture I interpreted then as an ideogram that is presented in its becoming, as a gesture: primordial voice speaking through a pure reduced writing externality and wrappings, emptied shells. A language now unknown to us but original, White Shell Tongue. These my writings were born as a result of conversations with the researchers of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Frascati on the concepts of dark matter, antimatter, the world of nuclear and subnuclear physics, and on the DAPHNE project, accelerator of particles. Various shots of each side of three white sculptures: gesture and matter are the terms of a relationship still waiting to be deciphered”.
